A commitment to burning clean

We make one candle. And we make sure it deserves its place in your home. That is why we are extremely particular about what goes into it.

Every El Palo Alto candle is free of phthalates and parabens, chemicals often used in cheaper alternatives. Both are widely studied for their potential effects on hormones, and we simply leave them out.

We use natural soy wax, which comes from soybean oil, and a cotton wick that holds a steady flame and burns evenly.

Each candle is poured and finished by hand.
